Bad light; tries do be funny

Posted : 7 years, 9 months ago on 6 January 2010 12:13 (A review of JCVD)

Although someone can tell me that the saturated lights on this movie were intended to show how Jean Claude always had lived under the media lights, it really damaged the whole movie... it's very difficult to watch with such saturated lights.

I could say the movie is regular, but it could be a lot better.

Worst movie ever!

Posted : 7 years, 10 months ago on 8 December 2009 11:39 (A review of Shinjuku Incident)

Extremely boring, infantile dialogues, poorly directed, a total waste of time...

How Jackie Chan could agree to act on this movie? Completely piece of crap.

It's amazing how people voted higher notes on this one... :\

REC for americans?

Posted : 7 years, 11 months ago on 28 October 2009 11:49 (A review of Quarantine)

The original REC was so good, so I don't understand why do a "english-spoken" version. Just because the lazy americans don't want to read subtitles? In the end they put "Based on REC"... :D Come on, it is a total copy and they didn't add anything to the original one...

If you did not watch this neither REC, watch REC please, way better than Quarantine.

"Uma imagem vale por mil palavras"

Posted : 8 years ago on 14 October 2009 11:27 (A review of December)

Se tem uma frase que poderia ser aplicada a esse filme é: "uma imagem vale por mil palavras" :D. Há muita coisa subentendida nesse filme e aí vai depender de quem assiste captar ou não.

Salvo engano, a câmera me lembrou um pouco aquele suspense "Os Estranhos".

Slow and boring

Posted : 8 years, 6 months ago on 15 April 2009 12:58 (A review of Romulus, My Father)

This is a *real* piece of shit. This movie doesn't worth nothing, non the time needed to watch it.

Do not waste your time.

Just a repetition of the first one

Posted : 8 years, 10 months ago on 18 December 2008 01:09 (A review of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian)

For me it was just a repetition of the first one: fights, strange creatures and that's all...

And if it's supposed to be for children, it's too violent (although there isn't any blood :D). Otherwise it's too childish, silly. So the viewer doesn't know what public this movie wants to reach.

Boring

Posted : 8 years, 10 months ago on 11 December 2008 12:02 (A review of Avenue Montaigne)

Well, I didn't like it.

Of course, this film is beautiful regarding the music and footage etc, but it lacks a real story. I felt it empty. It lacks substance. Too superficial for me...

Anyway it seems to please a lot of women.

Just another silly movie

Posted : 8 years, 10 months ago on 6 December 2008 12:07 (A review of The Ultimate Gift)

Those who watch this movie doesn't know if it was a comedy or drama... It would be better if it was a comedy, but it try hardly to be a drama and if fails miserably.

Just another silly movie full of those "self-help" messages and boring worst-case scenarios, so people can feel better by the fact they are not in those sick situations...

This was repeated so many times...

And there are those "american" values... and money of course and bla bla bla...

Total waste of "american" money.

Everybody likes, but...

Posted : 9 years ago on 13 October 2008 03:52 (A review of Iron Man)

...it's not a great movie. Yes, it has all the elements of action movies, but most of the super hero movies seem to be the same, the same formula. Even the bad guys doesn't seem to be that bad...

I think the error is trying to make a movie about a comics super hero trying to transform the comics into a movie. They should forget the comics format and start a story more appropriate to cinema...

Anyway, if you like action movies and high tech and don't care about a more deep and complex story, it's nice.

Piece of shit

Posted : 9 years, 2 months ago on 7 August 2008 11:22 (A review of 10,000 BC)

Do not waste your time with this movie. Complete crap.

It seems that this movie was made just to fulfill some director obligation... very bad done, uninteresting, boring, full of cliche...

It doen't worth nothing.
